Daydream Quilt Block Workshop

In this workshop you will learn a fun, easy way to make this quilt block using strip piecing.
Project: Pieced 15" quilt block.

Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm (45 min. lunch break on your own)
Where: Phil’s Sewing Studio 400 E. 5th Street (across the street from Phil’s Sewing Machines)
Workshop Fee: $35.00 due at sign-up. The workshop fee includes the cost of the workshop, Daydream Quilt Pattern by thimble blossom ($8.99 value) and instruction. You will need to bring your own fabric and supplies, see list below. These should be purchased prior to the Workshop.

- rotary cutter
- seam ripper
- thread snips
- coordinating thread and full bobbin for construction
- Creative Grids 45 degree triangle quilt ruler (optional but highly recommended)
Fabrics: All fabrics should be starched and cut before the day of class. You will receive cutting instructions with payment for this workshop.
25 - fat quarters or 1/4 yard cuts (75" x 75" finished size)
3 yards back ground fabric (Note: pattern calls for 1.5 yards of 2 different fabrics)
Sewing machine* in good working order with accessories, full bobbin and new needle. We have classroom machines available for use at no additional cost and invite you to try one. If you would like to use one of our classroom machines, please let us know prior to the workshop.
*If bringing and using your own sewing machine, must be familiar with it, know how to thread, wind & insert bobbin, select straight stitch, and insert new needle if necessary.
