Prairie Flower Quilt Block Workshop
Instructor: Laverne Farrar
Skill Level: Adult Beginner
The Prairie Flower quilt workshop for beginning- to advanced-adult students will introduce the strip piecing method. The quilt is built from one block repeated in a variety of colors and prints, with a large focus-fabric at the center. You may choose to “fussy cut” your center from a favorite novelty print. All fabrics are repeated several times throughout the quilt. You may opt to do a scrappy version if you prefer.
Project: We will be working on the first of seven blocks in this workshop. Participation in the workshop will give you the skills and confidence to complete the quilt top on your own.
