Sticks & Stones Quilt Top Workshop

This is a project that will include: One quilt block design is all it takes to create this stunning quilt. Designed specifically for beginners, it’s the perfect project to help you take your quilting skills to the next level.

Where: Phil’s Sewing Studio 400 E 5th Street (across the street from Phil’s Sewing Machines)
Workshop Fee: $35.00 due at sign-up. The workshop fee includes the cost of the workshop, instruction, and Sticks & Stones quilt pattern (a $10.99 value). You will need to bring your own fabric and supplies, see list below. These should be purchased prior to the Workshop.

Supply list: Note- Supplies should be purchased prior to the class. Highlighted items to be purchased at Phil’s, stop by and our staff will happily help you make your selections. We appreciate your support of our small business.
• 1/4” foot (optional)
• rotary cutter
• fabric scissors
• pins or clips
• coordinating thread and full bobbin for construction
Fabrics: All fabrics should be starched and cut before the day of class.
• 1 1/4 yards medium fabric
• 5/8 yard dark fabric
• 1 1/2 yards light fabric
(additional fabrics required but not needed for day of workshop)
• 3 1/4 yards backing
• 1/2 yard binding
• 55” x 67” batting
Sewing machine* in good working order with accessories, full bobbin and new universal needle. We have classroom machines available for use at no additional cost and invite you to try one. If you would like to use one of our classroom machines, please let us know prior to the workshop.
*If bringing and using your own sewing machine, must be familiar with it, know how to thread, wind & insert bobbin, select straight stitch, and insert new needle if necessary.
